This isn’t finished, I’ve got some clear tape on the way and I’m going to tint it yellow like an old endurance racer. Only a small mod but I think it’ll look good.

In the spirit of the game, and as I have the 400, was that a factory option? Do you have a picture of the look you're aiming for?

Not a factory option as far as I know. I bought it from a company called slipscreens.

Don’t have a picture of the finished product but I’m happy with how it looks so far so I think I’ll go ahead with tinting it. With just 2 strips of 3m tape it’s survived some silly speeds.

Tinted light covers were a craze 20 years ago?
Mad buggers coming up behind me on the A2 into London when I'm pottering along at 70-several mph, pink and purple lights in the mirrors.

Personally I like the bubble light cover, but yellow on a red/white/black bike?
Leave it clear the bike looks great.

I like the cover and I’ll keep it. I like the idea of it yellow but haven’t seen what it’ll look like. That’s why I’m going to wrap it so I can take it off when I want. It’ll help make the tape less obvious too.
