"Starting July 18th, TNT Sports will become a part of the Discovery+ streaming service, providing a rich roster of global sports events to stream for fans across the UK. This will eventually replace the current BT Sport Monthly Pass streaming offer, with Discovery+ becoming the go-to streaming app for TNT Sports."

"Regarding the switch from the BT Sport app to TNT Sports, we’ve also heard that on launch day, the TNT Sports live channels and full match replays will become available in the Discovery+ app."

"What we do know, for now, is that pricing for existing BT Sport subscribers on the pay-TV platforms (Sky, Virgin Media and BT TV) will not change with the switch to TNT Sports (at least not at launch). What happens with Discovery+ subscribers – and whether they’ll need to pay more for access to TNT Sports – remains to be seen."

I'm wondering then if there will be a 3rd level monthly/annual plan.
So correct me if im wrong but isnt eurosports also part of discovery+?

Yes.

I'm currently subscribed to Discovery+ for Eurosport, and MotoGP Video Pass.

Yes I think it’ll be three tiered so
£3.99 for just entertainment
£6.99 for entertainment and sport
And if you want TNT sports on top it’ll be another £20/25 per month

"TNT Sports will be available through discovery+ as well as Sky, Virgin Media TV and BT TV, offering linear channels - TNT Sports 1, TNT Sports 2, TNT Sports 3, TNT Sports 4 – in standard definition and high definition, plus six red-button channels. TNT Sports Ultimate will offer fans select coverage in up to 4K picture resolution with high dynamic range (HDR) - presenting images and colour in cinema-level quality and Dolby Atmos sound."

fkers.

I STILL don't want to pay for football to watch MotoGP.

My last season for MotoGP I think, went through a VPN this year for around £130.

Well, at least its not anymore expensive than paying for Disc+ with sports AND BT Sport (£30 instead of £37/month)

Where do you see 37? £30 looks to be everything but that's still £360/yr wheras Eurosport is included in the £60/yr.

How did you pay to get the £130? They seem to have made it very difficult to do that now and didn't have time to I suss it out before it got too late and the Mrs wanted it bought. Not sure I'd have bothered otherwise tbh.

I mean the F1 is only 70/yr. They seem to have sussed Motorsport fans are not typically those who routinely watch - or want to pay for - big ticket greenfield sports.

Use TunnelBear or similar, set location to Holland, £130 a year; worked for me.

£360 a year I will not be paying; I can see me watching the highlights next year, unless Yamaha & Honda miraculously provide their riders with competitive bikes next year.

I guess if you don't want the football or all the other sports just pay for Moto GP videopass seems fairly simple

£37 comes from (assuming paying monthly), £30 per month for BT sport and £7 per month for discovery plus. All in for £30 per month on TNT sport's top package.

And the £130 was from creating a motogp account via VPN, set mine to Poland.

With UK prices for Motogp video pass being ridiculously high, that makes it not so simple. As above, F1 is WAAAAY cheaper to watch than MotoGP.

fk em. WSBK & BSB only next year.

There are all sorts of ways you can watch any of this stuff without paying anywhere that amount, not suitable for print however!

£360! Well, that's not happening.

I bet it'll go up a fiver a month every year too.

I always get the torrents a couple of hours after the races, can then watch at leisure.

It's still got to be cheaper than £30 a month...today it's €85 for the rest of the season

We get Disco+ through our existing Sky package. I can access any of the normal Eurosport programmes through the Disco+ app (WSB, BSB, etc) but can’t seem to find any MotoGP in there - it’s listed as one of the sports, but nothing then appears.

Anyone else seeing this? I’m wondering if the BT Sport/TNT Sport live coverage will start appearing here in time for the British GP…

To answer my own question above, and in case anyone else is wondering, TNT Sports does not seem to be included as part of the Discovery+ freebie subscription you get with SkyQ - trying to load up the MotoGP practice now and getting the error “This content is not available with your current pass from your affiliate provider”

Sad face.

Just a heads up if anyone wants Discovery + Premium with TNT sports premium for less than the £29 a month they are advertising it at.

I got a all rounder sim only deal from EE with TNT premium for £20.30 a month, which is really cheap as I was paying £10 a month for a Smarty sim so effectively its costing me £10.30 a month.

https://www.hotukdeals.com/share-deal-from-app/418...

I went for the 50GB all rounder and it's all setup and working, can can either cast from the phone or use the discovery+ app on your TV or firestick

Anyone know how to cancel the bt sports app ?

It's a standing order so can't just cancel it online like a direct debit.

I haven't moved over to tnt so haven't transferred the account across either.
