Twin Lectrons in. £1300 of carbs but I should save it back on dyno time.

Home made 1 in to 3 throttle cables (3rd one runs the oil pump)

Yes, very often used in the crosser world. I have used them on lots of 2 strokes and love the ease of dialling them in. Not used on a twin before but lectron have been doing a few ypvs350 with good results.

Do they have a decent mid range crossover? and by that, I mean the kind of fuelling a road bike needs ?

I can see they would be fine for MX as thats pretty much open or shut, just curious as they fascinate me....
On my 125 Mito and 125 Aprilia they are much smoother than a normal carb. You actually lose a little of the power valve step but peak power was a tiny bit higher

Rode a load of 2 strokes in my 20s and 30s - even did a tour of Japan on an Rgv 250 which was bloody uncomfortable as a 6ft3 person !
I miss the smell, sound and powerband of these 2 strokes - the tzr engine is a cracker - excellent job mate
Glad you like it…it’s amazing how everyone loves a 2 stroke power band. The 250 should be well in the power between 9,500. and 12,500

No i made the mounts and a friend of mine made the pipes

I remember being a kid in the late 90s and early 2000s and lusting over Ducati 996 and 998s. This was the closest we kids could get.

I wanted one of these or an Aprilia RS 125. The Suzuki RG 125 had just gone out of production by then.
The TZR 125 and RG were the bikes the rich kids could only afford when I was 17…the Mito was spoken about but rarely seen.

There are actually a lot of MK1 and MK2 still around and most are being or have been restored…I had 4 Mito’s at one point.
