Pass the popcorn...
The arrogance of HRC and MM93 don't know when to stop.
They would do well to say OK. Do Argentina as usual with MM93 out of action.
And then all riders boycott COTA.

You think? It's racing, there are rules, and they'll be using everything within the rules to gain an advantage. If the rules say that the penalty is final, yet it's been changed after the event, then the modification is illegal. Morals have nothing to do with it, the rule book doesn't have a conscience.

Fans do, which is why a lot of people do not like him, the team and especially the team boss, brought so much antagonism into GP racing aswell as a lot of talent, a singularly unlikeable individual is Puig.

I'm sure they're very upset about that surrounded by all their trophy's.

Racing is racing, look at all the greats from any sport and they use every inch of the rulebook to their advantage. If you don't, why are you bothering? Every other team would do the same.

Not a good move by HRC, regardless of what teams normally do. This is going to make for a very memorable season for all the wrong reasons I feel. Alberto Puig and MM93 are well suited.

They are right to appeal it and will get it quashed. Won’t win the spirit of the paddock award this season but that’s not what they entered for.

Especially when they cant build a GP bike anymore and their Moto3 bike is only any good for the team that has been cheating without being caught for years. HRC need a huge root and branch change quite honestly

It's more than one element, other forces being people poached by others. HRC have recently employed Ken Kawauchi, this is a positive step. But as a group HRC have always been a bit arrogant. Luckily for them Yamaha are still around rofl

Perhaps HRC need your vast experiences and catalogue of all that is wrong with bike racing Luke?

Assuming the appeal is not successful, Marc should turn up in Argentina ride as little as possible. Qualify wherever he can. Ride the race and do his 2 long laps and then retire the bike. Penalty served within the rules. A round not missed as HRC Repsol fielded 2 bikes and 2 riders.

Then get ready for US GP and do what he does best in America.

They have been dismal for 3 years. They appear to be going backwards. Honda are far too much a one man band.

That's not a good place for anyone or any team who has a competitive requirement to keep their job or win in the future.

Clumsy wording by the stewards kicked all this off, and HRC may tehnically have point, but it's still a stupid lawyer move in sport from which you can guarantee no matter who "wins", the fans are the losers.

Shut up you silly man Turn 7, this is a forum for discussion, if you want to behave like a 5 year old on Facebook try it on someone that gives a toss.

HRC have a habit of doing this sort of thing, but I cant remember a time when they got it so wrong for so long! Maybe the RC45 early years but at least it was sort of winning races, perhaps the ill fated 500 v twin aswell, that never really worked especially when privateers thought they were getting an Okada bike instead getting some second rate rip off.

Honda are arrogant, always have been they think the bike is what wins, and it's obvious really that Marquez was winning not just the bike. Ducati could also have that accusation at the moment, but it is clear Pecco has something extra, champions always do. Doohan, Spencer, Rainey they all had the extra little bit on similar bikes to others.

Be interesting to see what Kalex make of it, gone are the old days when Kanemoto would turn up at each race with Lawson and a load of new frames welded up by some God in Japan!

Spirit of the paddock award is the only thing HRC have a chance of winning. What a corporate failure to have to admit to getting Kalex to do the frame and swingarm
