This. The team formerly known as PBM has a much reduced budget, no experienced leadership, last year's bike and no new spares package. They may well start 2024 as strongly as they finished 2023, but I expect them to run out of puff.
Honda, on the other hand, are desperate for wins and have an unlimited budget to make themselves glorious on their new bike, their reputation (and sales) hangs on it. Why else do you think they went for last year's champ in addition to the two already on the books?
Yamaha have been quick out of the box for a number of years, O'Halloran throwing the championship away late season on more than one occasion, but Ryde is ready and able.
For me, as a wild card, Skinner on the BMW.
That unlimited Honda budget worked out well today didn't it? rofl

British riders coming back to BSB from with GP’s or WSBK often do very well. Niall Mackenzie, Scott Reading and Neil Hodgson are 3 names that spring to mind.
