I am unclear as to the reason for this thread.

If you are simply letting us know that you bought a 550, didn't like it and are now thinking about a 750, then that's fine, but the "dare I?" at the end of your first post suggests otherwise. If it is just banter, and not a question it would still be nice to know why the 550 didn't work for you and why you think the 750 might but that's up to you whether you tell us that.

If you are asking those who read the thread if they think you should go for the 750 then we'll definitely need to know more before we can offer anything other than a "flip a coin" guess.

You can either call my post pedantic, ignore it, or give some more detail. If you do either of the first two options I really don't understand what you want/are expecting beyond a bit of trolling.
