I must admit that I have not been very complimentary about the MT10 front light. I have also said the Multistrada beak looks a bit daft but I do own one.
I think most manufacturers stopped making beautiful bikes many years ago, these days they all seem to look like something from a transformers movie. I'm sure its only a matter of time before we see the first Harley with some carbon wings rotate

Even the Italian designs seemed to have suffered since the days of Tamburini frown

For the bonkers fix I have a 1078 F4. I use a Diavel as my go to, which is a great bike, but even that feels slow after riding the F4, which possibly has one of the best sounding and most evocative I4 engines ever!
I have the same Bonkers Fix.....

I did think that comment was not really what you would say to someone sharing their new and expensive pride and joy with us.
Agreed

I mean we were all thinking fking hell that's ugly but it's not polite to type it biggrin

Although I've often said it about my KTMs, thankfully they ride better than they look
I prefer to think it is purposeful in it’s look, rather than conventionally pretty. It is a Streetfighter after all!

I like the streetfighter, especially the SP model. They look much better in the flesh than in that pic too. Bonkers power.

Agreed. That engine makes other IL4's seem rather bland!

Nice to see some fellow F4 owners in agreement, now I feel all left out for not adding a pic in the first place wink

You're going to be so disappointed with me.....

And I'm going to get some brutal comments about who makes ugly bikes.

But I've gone full circle and now am waiting for this to be delivered....

As the 'Busa and the K1300S have been mentioned then I'd also suggest you look at the H2 SX. Like the 'Busa. it's a bit too heavy to be a true sports bike but is closer to a sports bike than the K1300S.

The advantage that both the K1300S and the H2SX have is the integral hard luggage. You can ride to the Alps in a day, spend a week scratching on the passes, then ride home in a day, all while carrying a cleans set of clothes for every day.
I came down to agonising between a Busa and a H2. Really could have gone either way even though they are quite different.

I ruled out the super nakeds and the full on sports bikes as I know how I've ended up riding them in the past and decided it had to be something a bit different. It's a bit of an unknown if I'll use the Hayabusa as I'm imagining, but I'm picturing rolling round the bends in one gear and surfing the wave of grunt. We'll see. I still have an F4 hankering, they are the most beautiful bikes.

I'm keeping my other bikes so the Multistrada will still do the longer trips (It has very good luggage).

Congratulations! thumbup I'm not a fan of the 'Busa looks (I know, rich coming from an H2 SX owner!) but they are a great bike. Well done!

I think that is stunning ! Beautiful. I feel very tempted, especially since I was looking forward to a KTM 1390 GT with a lot more power to replace my 1290 GT and KTM have let me down.... I had a 2004 Busa years ago, black and so very smooth.

Had to be. smile

Seriously though, sounds like you've made a great choice, and that's a cracking looking colour scheme.

Do like a Busa. Staggering engines. I have a weird perversion to putting a race seat and fairings on one and trying it with slicks. smile

Not at all, congratulations, I hope you enjoy, it’s what makes you happy that matters smile

If it wears off, you can sell it easily enough, and then get the F4 wink
