Ahhhh.... I failed my test this morning. The examiner said it was a perfect ride apart from one fault.... I went into a bus lane that was closed!!!!!!!!!!! Goes down as a serious road marking fault!

I am so annoyed with myself... been down that road loads of times but came onto it from a different road and got confused.

Oh well... re-booked for 17th now!

C'est la vie

Sounds like a "have to fail" you offence, rather than a "dont want you on the roads" one, so good luck for the 17th. Not too long to wait, really.

Dont worry about it. It happens to the best of us. easy misstake to make under the pressure of a test.

All character building mate - I didn't pass until my third go, despite having taken to it like a duck to water (my instructers couldn't believe I failed the first two, thay were for lame reasons too).

Try and get another morning test for your next one.....best of luck!

Sh!t...Sorry to hear that mate. Still, by the sounds of it, you can happily ride a bike to the required standard. Only a matter of time.

Got a bike sorted yet, or still haven't decided?

The fact my instructor said I'd pass no issue is what's annoying. Missing one road sign for a bus lane and I was toast!!

Was going to go down to KTM this week to test the 640 Supermoto. Obviously that needs to wait till after Test No 2 on the 17th!!

I'm like you - duck to water but failed due to missing a road sign!

Test booked for the morning again so should be fine!!!

HI Gary,

bugger... I had a similar situation. Bought a CBR600RR, two months before even learning to ride, then failed my test having arranged to collect the bike, then had to sit looking at it for a fortnight, until test two which I passed...

Torture!

Unlucky mate, sorry to hear it.

But the good news is, you now taking you test same day as me!

Spose that's not much consolation, eh?

I'll be thinking of you!! But only once I've thought about road markings and bus lanes

Tough luck Gary.

Someone once told me that all the best riders pass on their second attempt.

Good luck!
