I will give you more noise if that's what you're after. I have always put Akrapovic cans on all my bikes.
Is that all they do? Would there be any performance diffs that I would notice?
Cheers.
Probably not, but if you fitted a Power Commander and a K&N filter (or equivalent life time filter) then had a bespoke Dyno run and in turn parted with another approx £500 for this little lot, you may see some gains.
As I said I have always put Akrapovic cans on my bikes for the noise and most importantly so that other road users (i.e. cars, etc) can hear you and know you're there.

Chilli,
Unlikely you will even feel the difference, it will however make lots more noise.
Which apart from getting petty tugs from the Bib, will also restrict your choice of track days to 105Db days.
As Andy Oh has already said, power comander, pipe and bespoke map, developed on a dyno will make a lot of difference.
The R6 and R1 can be tuned to a limited extent, using a facility built into (and hidden) in the standard dash / ecu. You wouldn't need to buy any parts, but you would still need an hour or so of dyno time to get it right.
If you decide to tune your bike, I would recommend Mick at Total Traction, on the Hythe.
Not far from you and I personally, wouldn't let anyone else work on my bikes.

If you're only after performance gains then instead of tuning the bike, tune yourself - modern sports bikes are usually capable of far more than their riders IME, so before you start bunging bundles of cash at dyno tuners, make sure you're already capable of riding it to it's limits.
Just my 2p. If on the other hand you just like the noise, then go for it - I did

Looks similar to mine Chilli.
Whilst there is no performance gain to be had (although maybe weights a bit less) they 'clean' the back of the bike up even more.
It won't be any louder, just pop & bang on over-run.

I agree, think they look good. Just wondered if I was gonna get laughed at!
Cheers.
