Just booked 4 of us on with Focused Events for a full GP circuit track day (Sunday as well) for £69 plus a free WSBK Silverstone ticket thrown in with the price!!

Hmmm, tempted - I did the same one last year and it was great. Too foggy to ride until 12 but still good!

I think ill await the weather nearer the time, though there are only 3 places left. Bugger.

Just booked a friend and I on this day. He'll be in Beginner group, i'll either be in Beginner or Inters, not sure yet.

Dont worry Rawwr. I can't imagine that we will be going mad on the first of the season.

My sister is really nervous after a road accident. Dave and I are going to relax to get back in the swing of it after winterising the bikes since October and his brother is sh*tting a brick as he hasn't been on track for 4 years. Greg is just out for a laugh and is building up confidence.

It will be nice to have others to chat to, etc.

I just hope we don't get snow and ice like last year!! The marshalls were driving Land Rovers around the circuit for four hours trying to dry the ice. As you went through Bridge corner, the bike would move around as the water was just re-freezing in the shade!!

They have 6 places. I don't know what they know that I don't, but it's gone UP by 5 places over the last week! Maybe someone has a weather forecast that stretches that far ahead!!!

I was at Silverstone today with Lotus-On-Track (www.lotus-on-track.com) getting some pax laps so I have some kind of idea what the circuit's like. If the weather on the 18th is anything like it was today, I think I may skip the morning session.

Buggeration! My bike has been juddering a bit under braking but I had put it down to the very worn front tyre but now I have that replaced I know it must be warped discs

So now I have to race around finding some replacement discs in time for this event! Doh!
