Ah, it was fine! Only did it the once and apart from not being able to feel my finger tips it was ok hehe I was easy on the throttle and had my weight well back off the front wheel so if the rear tyre had started to lose traction i'd have known about it and backed off. I'd just been out for a spin and worn leathers, which I don't normally do, so it would have been rude to go home without having dragged my knee biglaugh

Hope weather stays good for your track day lads. Expecting to see plenty of good photos and reviews from the day.

Looking forward to it lads, shall we all share a garage? We aim to get there for 7.30 for signing on.

Just got the rear tyre fitted. Dropped my car back home at lunch so I can take the works Transit home, clean up track leathers tomorrow and pack gear, tools, cool bag. Then load bikes. Leave house at 6.00am heading towards Silverstone.

Weather looking dry at the moment.

Managed to get a tripod and camera, which I am mounting to the back of the bike, so if anyone wants to follow me for a bit and get some footage that I can email, feel free. I got a 2gb memory card on 3.2mpixel digi camera so should be good for an hours worth.

See you up there, we will be in the 'Sondex' liveried Transit.

Ace. Ill be in a plain white transit, but you really can't miss my bright yellow TLR as it has a Gixxer Thou' back end, and the front wheel is gold instead of white to match the rear!! I'll also be in blue and white leathers, looking like an anorexic!

I'll make a note of the name on your van - but sharing a garage would be cool, all muck in together, as it were. I'm bringing front and rear paddock stands plus a reasonably comprehensive toolkit so if any of us need to make repairs, we should be equipped.

Right, I'm all lubed, oiled, checked and stuff. I gave the bike the once over, too. See you tomorrow (fat nerdy looking twot on a black GSX-R750 with PH stickers on it).

I'll recognise your plate mate

We're all ready to go, van all loaded and bikes all freshly fettled. Let's just hope it's dry!

I haven't put R4WWR on the 750 yet

I did fit my new tail tidy today but still got the original 'sail' plate so it looks a bit... odd

Great day, all in all! Was good to meet veetwin and Mad_Dave and the day went without any hiccups. Though due to it getting colder in the afternoon and a little dent to my confidence on one of the sessions, I decided to quit whilst I was ahead. If the sun had stayed out a bit longer, things may have been different but it was great all the same

Your 750 even looks good with the tape over the lights, nice looking bike! I always think black is a bit.. er... dull on a bike but yours is looking good
