I just bought an import for only £5,000.

Ok, i am the third owner on paper, but the thing is only just run-in.
It has the full 190 bhp as well, i checked that bit out in case it was resricted.

It may not handle as well as my 2004 R1, but i am not into mental cornering angles on the road anymore. What it does do------------is GO!
Jeepers, this thing moves, a rather startled Lamborghini Gallardo owner found that out yesterday! It left him for absolute DEAD, 30-120 ish (road eneded!).

Good for you. There isn't much about the big Zed on here, for some reason not many people look to have ridden it.

I'm just about to put a deposit on one for an easter collection.

I'm sure it's the daddy to ride and I've heard the brakes and cornering are top notch.

I used to have a tweeked ZX12R so I'm not expecting much of a performance gain over that but that level of go is huge fun. It's nice to know you can take on anything on four wheels and at least give the Bugatti a run for it's considerable money.

I also found that having a bike that quick in a straight line always made me treat it respect. I'd thrash a 600. You can't thrash a 1400 (in the UK) but you can surf that torque all day long!

enjoy

I had a zx12r,was in a town nearby yesterday and there was a jet black one sitting in the street,it had obviously just been driven right out of a showroom,it looked stunning.A lot lower, sleeker at the front than it appears on photos(top of screen to ground).Definetely prefer the jet black to the gunmetal grey colour, does more for the bike in my opinion. And,as is said often around here black bikes have scientifically been proven to be faster!:-)

I'm now the proud owner of a deposit for a black ZZR1400.

Plan is to pick it up Saturday
