Saturday we took the Samurai jeep down to Myra to look at the old tombs cut into the rock face. Getting there involved negotiating Antalya and we were doing well, congratulating each other at having made it around and getting onto the D400 when on the outside lane we came over a bridge and suddenly saw this sign for Kemer D400 pointing off to the right with no chance of catching it. Anyway, a bit of navigating by the sun and a tour of downtown Antalya had us heading the right way anyway.

The last 20 km's or so from Kumluca to Myra are incredible, don't think there's one bit of straight road, would be great on a bike if the locals knew which side to drive on.

Sunday involved wandering along the beach to Side, dealing with the hecklers, "ooh-ahhing" the temple of Appollo, hanging around a lot then catching the big bird back to Blighty.

Assessing the damage to my bike this afternoon after someone took a disliking to it in my abscence. Noticed as soon as I walked up the drive that something was wrong, it was on it's sidestand and I always park it there on the centre stand. Nice hole in the tail piece, gawd knows what the rest of it's like.

Oh, and the bank have cancelled my old card without sending me the new one when I told them this was going to happen. And I'm meant to be going away on the bike this weekend. Will it still work? Will I get it roadworthy in time? Will I be able to get the cash to cover the weekend?

Bleh, glad to be back, really.

Umm, not!

Yes. At Brands Hatch mine was the shot exiting Dingle Dell, coming down and then back up the hill before making the right turn away from me

Its turning into a good year for interesting camera positions

I have been at work all weekend. Sweating, and dealing with liars.

I really need to buy a bike, if I'm not careful, it'll be a year since I passed my DAS, and I'll need retraining!

Well get on with it then!

250 miles around N.Wales for me, yesterday. Cracking weather, great roads, and a few mates in tow. Can't fault it.

Started with a fryup at Raven Cafe at Prees, then over to Bala, past Trawsfynydd, up through Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant, then back to Betws-y-Coed for afternoon shandy, then home. Out for 9am, back by 5pm, glorious.
