So your brakes are fading on the road. Wow!

Best job you pay someone to do your repairs because you clearly have a screw lose!

Errr...dont get the impression its god-like last minute braking that caused it though. As suggested, I think its more to do with a problem in the brake lines.

Though touring in France last year after miles of 1/2 gear switchback-to-switchback riding, the lever did get fairly long, so I reckon it is possible to warm the fluid a bit if youre dedicated enough.

I use Crescent, they are good.

This is the number for the Bournemouth branch - 01202 512923

Can't vouch for the guys at the Verwood centre.....

Almost certainly air in the brake lines - a decent specialist or centre will gravity bleed these for you in 20 minutes tops.

EBC HH are OK, but dont wear particularly well in my experience. A night and day difference will be to use Performance Friction pads, they are expensive but they are stunning. They also perform at the same rate all the way to zero material left on the pad unlike many others. For my 10R they are about twice the price of EBC HH.

I can vouch for the Verwood bunch, top sales blokes and very good mechanics, who take time to talk to you and make sure you`re happy with everything pre AND post service. The number for the Verwood bunch is 01202820170. They dont care what make or model bike you take to them. Oh and FYI I dont work for them, this is just free and impartial advice.
