JT does the double at last in front of the home crowd biggrin

Bayliss fell in race one trying too hard as he expected a ride through penalty for jumping the start, Haga dumped it at Surtees but remounted leaving JT to an easy win from Corser and Biaggi 3rd. Kagayama decided to watch the race from the 5th row stands at Clearways a couple of laps from the end, ending his race but he would be out for race 2.

Race 2 all much closer with JT, Haga and Corser battling throughout after Biaggi got a jump start penalty (dropped to 16th but finished 8th 1sec behind Bayliss!) Fabrizio a fighting 4th ahead of Kagayama and Xaus.

Oh and JT played the keyboard and sang the National Anthem before the races hehe Still if he found that nervous it would have taken the tension away from the races.

Ps. Marty Nutt picked up a point in the first race as well !

Pps. Tommy Hill finished a fighting and close 5th (not far from 3rd) in his one off race in the WSS class. thumbup Whilst Steve Martin was racing a British McElnea developed Virgin Media Yamaha, painted up as a Yamaha Motor France bike (because he says it was better) in the WSBK races.

TO52ELAND t-shirst again, they're tighter than a gnats chuff biggrin

FG were saying there were 126,000 there, I'm sure they count feet not heads.

Complete arse wasnt it.

I was there when Hodgy was doing well and they quoted 100,000 people. It was shitloads busier than it was yesterday. That year, you couldnt see a patch of grass over on the bank, the place was rammed. I bet when that prat foggy was winning there was even more.

Given the strength of series right now and the fact a brit is riding his socks off and leading it, I thought yesterday was a poor turnout. It was forecast fine so you cant blame the weather.

Wonder if England now has too many WSB rounds?
