Sounds as though you had a good time Chilli, get your photo's up. Myself, T66AKY, Stub and Hobo, are maybe going too do a couple of trackdays in September, dates are, Croft 14th Sept and Cadwell 28th September. Do you fancy any of those Two dates.
If you fancy Croft, bring warm clothes, and your passport.
John.
I might be up for Cadwell on the 28th - who's it with?If you fancy Croft, bring warm clothes, and your passport.
John.
Edit: because I gave wrong info.

Looking good Chilli, notice that your toes are sticking right down, move them further back, oh and slide your arse off the seat a bit.John.
Will have to practice moving the arse around, but guess I'll have to wait for the track for that!
Cheers.

Balls of feet on pegs, not heels.
As you know. Just got to start moving around a bit. One arse cheek on the seat & try to headbutt the wing mirror will get you somewhere near
Agreed. However, I keep forgetting to move them! And I'd hate to imagine my reaction when flying up to a corner, and realising I can't reach the pedals!!As you know. Just got to start moving around a bit. One arse cheek on the seat & try to headbutt the wing mirror will get you somewhere near
headbutt the mirrir...I'll remember that one!
Cheers.

Me and Simon can't get on at Croft on the 14th Sept, we have booked Mallory for the 14th, do you fancy that one?
Cadwell is still on for the 28th.
Mallory booked for Hobo & Stu Cadwell is still on for the 28th.
Decided to go for inters as I've never been round Mallory.
You both missed a good day, today at Croft.
Move your feet to have the balls of your feet on the peg, then you need to lift all your weight on to the balls of your feet (so all your weight is on the pegs). That way you can lift your arse off the seat to move about (also lowers all the weight down to the base of the bike). As you tip-in hook your knee (left knee on a right bend) in to the side of the tank (you'll find it's shaped to fit it), you can use your knee to help tip it in. Right knee applied to tarmac (although i'm no expert on the matter!)
few snaps of my first trackday at Mallory here
(I did buy a couple of 12"x15" prints so didn't think they'd mind if i robbed the rest off their website!

Question ... when you transfer your weight from your bum to the balls of your feet without changing the height of your body, what happens to the combined CofG of you and the bike?Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
