Anyone have any experience of these?

Basically I bought a bike recently and fancied the idea of having some video footage of my riding (on the road and when I get round to my first trackday!), and have absolutely no idea on the best way to achieve this.

Having trawled through Biker Banter for this subject, the cam above seems to be recommended and what I'm after i.e. cheap, doesn't require a camcorder, decent quality etc etc.

I'm after anyones opinions/experiences of this camera and also a little technical info; can I buy more than one card to swap in & out & therefore increase the recording capacity or are you limited to the one for some reason (max. 2GB which I believe is good for an hour so footage)? Also, how does the cam cope with vibration? And lastly, what's the deal with the mountings? Can I get something to mount it to the bike as well as my helmet (tee hee!) or is it helmet only?

And please bear in mind that technical A/V terms & numbers will only serve to confuse me! wink

moved from the Photography & Video Forum as it got bugger all response in there, although it was mentioned that it's not up to the job?!

That looks pretty good especially if doing track days.

Would be very hesitant about using it on road. If you get a tug and they see the camera... may take a bit of explaining and just hope they don't look at the footage.

I also have one and for what they do its fine. you want better quality then get a camcorder mount. but for a bit of fun they are good, waterproof and you can fit them anywhere

I will be tring to fit it by the prop shaft of my kitcar to see who it looks.

Lol, very descriptive!

Erm, why exactly? Pic quality, sound, crap build quality, not waterproof?
