Ace Cafe London to Brighton Run

Anyone going?

Not been out on the bike for a while as had 2 weeks on holiday, if its anything like last year should be something to look forward to!

Yup.

Probably won't go from the Ace though, as the mass mob from the Ace go the boring M25/M23 route. Will trundle down with a few other HD's and a couple of guys with old Trumpets and go the A24 route down to Worthing and then along the 27 into Brighton more than likely.

The start @10am from the Ace is brilliant IMHO, fantastic atmosphere , I wouldnt want to miss that , every one waving from the bridges and a police escort for some of the way.

Maybe a steadier pace this year, saw a LOT of people getting nicked in 2006.

now that sounds a lot better route. cant believe they all go m23.

i might be going, not really decided yet. room for another old trumpet in this lot if i do? cause if its all m23 i wont bother as i have to do that often enough anyway.

True the M23 isnt a fantastic route but its a bit of a chuckle with thousands of bikes on it at the same time..One of the best events in the biking calender and a great way to end the summer.

probably going to sound dumb, but new to all this when is the run as I live close to brighton and may go over. Only just back off hols so couldnt ask any sooner
