Can't watch the video myself, block on youtube in the office. However, was wondering what sort of numbers you guys have racked up?

Me, I had 16? form the R6, and 174 from the Gixer. The Gixer felt much more stable, and didn't seem a problem. Next time I get use of that track again, I'll see where it tops out at!!

46+56+84=186

Little maths problem with answer which I thought I'd share with you. I put that maths problem together whilst enjoying a ride on my GSXR. What made my thinking clear was the lack of junctions, and other traffic.

Bouncing off the limiter in top on my cbr600rr. Didn't look at the speed reading as I was busy trying to pick out my next braking pointsmile

My most recent have to be maxing out a GSX-R1000 for 10 miles up the M11 the other day. Amazed it did 174 in 4th on the limiter, 186 in 5th with 4000revs to go and obviously cruises that in 6th. Amazing bike.

i had 172 reading on my GSXR600

On my Fireblade i have only had 149 on the speedo was starting to struggle then, however later worked out when following friends that the Speedo Healer has been set-up incorrectly and as such under-reads by 20%

Erm, you do know that journalists from the national press have been known to read PH. Needless to say, PH didn't receive good press last time a thread was cited in a newspaper.

Lets not give any more ammunition to the anti-bikers out there, eh? ;

People will go about their business and fulfil their aims however they see fit.

It's a poor journalist who quotes off an internet forum without researching their work.

By quoting 186, I guess I'm closer to a rapist/murderer than the bloke doing 174..

I agree with you, but that doesn't stop them, and I'd hate to hear there were any actions taken due to a post on here.... that's all mate.

Never past 189 co-op coupons on the road.

Yea I know it's easy on a straight road, but that was on a roundabout.

A mini one.

165 for me, indicated of course. I came up to an obstruction though, but I had about 2000 revs to go. Indicated 175 must be acheivable. On a ZX6R by the way...
