How fast have you been....

160 in a GT2, Not sure in the Cobra my eyes were focused on the road not on the speedo! 120 on the Triumph (I.O.M. MAD SUNDAY), 110 on the Fatboy! My arms are now 3ins longer Oh and all on Private roads.
Just thought of another, 580MPH Gatwick to Sanford Orlando
68MPH on my Honda SS50 (one or two years ago)

People will go about their business and fulfil their aims however they see fit.
It's a poor journalist who quotes off an internet forum without researching their work.
By quoting 186, I guess I'm closer to a rapist/murderer than the bloke doing 174..
I agree with you, but that doesn't stop them, and I'd hate to hear there were any actions taken due to a post on here.... that's all mate. It's a poor journalist who quotes off an internet forum without researching their work.

Best I've had out of the R1 on the "autobahn" was 183mph (speedo), but the most amusing was buying the bike as a private sale when the seller told me to take it for a spin and said something like 'I dont mind you giving it the beans', cue one 177 run and I was sold on the bike.

I know a bloke who had the same bike as me and the same name as me and the same helmet as me who did an indicated 186 on his R1. He reported the revs kept climbing a good 2 or 3 hundred rpm past the max speed readout.
