1989 Honda VFR750R "RC30"
Dymag magnesium wheels (17" rear)
Termignoni full exhaust system
Ported heads
Non std jetting
Large custom radiators (Pace)
different springs and suspension valving front and rear
Cast iron brake rotors and sintered pads
Custom made foot rest hangers and pegs.

Otherwise it's pretty much as Honda intended.
what sort of power output are you getting from your RC30?

GSXR1000 K7 – still awaiting to be run in..

Mods so far include some heel plates and a tank pad..I know, I know, ive spent far too much..

Aim to have an exhaust of some sort for it by spring to get rid of the hideous standard twin can set up..
RAG IT FROM NEW!!!

http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

Stops the bugger fromo drinking oil. I gave the blade about 16 miles before I got bored. Just don't bog the engine down in high gears.

What this Veetwin has said, don't labour the engine in high gears, modern bikes can be caned from new, just give it a few miles then gun it.

It was making between 100 and 105 at the wheel before the exhaust and porting.

It now needs setting up on the rollers again. Hopefully I will get it fully sorted before spring. ( I work abroad, so all these projects seem to take for ever to complete)

It's always a bit risky speculating about power gains, but if I see anything over 115, I will be happy. The spread of torque from 6,000 to around 11,000 revs is very good, so the bike is quicker than the numbers may sugest. Even in std trim, it was slightly quicker than modern 600 supersports.

Here's my 1988 Bimota YB4EI. Micron Pipe, everything else factory. I love the sound it makes, and it handles great for a 19 year old machine.

LOL previous owner put it on. Would rather have it's original plate put back on, but I reckon the R1 plate will help it sell when i'm ready.

Yes I agree... £2300 for that and I can easily keep with mates on much more expesive bikes. Yes i'd love a zx10 but can I really justify it... hmmmm not at the moment. My brother has a 06 zx6r and it is wicked, but too small for me, the only thing mine lets me down on when we are pushing it is the brakes. But I can live with that for now.

The road bike; the 'ugly' Ducati Multistrada.
Mods done include - smaller front sprocket, open clutch cover and pressure plate from MPL Tuning with Speedymoto springs and caps. Givi rear rack for the best mod ever, a top case biggrin Quat-D full 2-1 exhaust system, which sounds amazing. The handguards and hugger were there when I bought it.

The track bike; a 2002 Ducati 900SS. It was lovely and shiny, until I did this to it in July at Mallory and knackered my hand;

She looked like this a few minutes before;

Since the crash, she's had Ducati Performance cans, a PCIII USB, rearsets and track bodywork. It'll look roughly like this ready for next season (I had all the bits off this 1000SS before it was sold wink )

Also, between me and the other half we have a UK Honda NC30 which lives in the house and is completely standard

And an Aprilia RS250 which works when it feels like it and is probably the best bike ever made, ever smile It was fine as standard, but we had some tuning work done and now it breaks every time you use it. It stopped halfway through the day this pic was taken, at Cadwell. It's got Arrow cans and Gilles rearsets.
