You them on the web somehow and put the link to that web based picture in your post (see formatting). PH does not hold any pictures for you. Getting your pictures on the web usually involves uploading the pictures to the web space that came with your ISP account or posting them to some picture hosting service.mitzy1968 said:

Oh I see... I don't post pictures of my bike as a rule as it's an absolute mess and I'm alergic to cleaning it Last time I cleaned it it broke down and it took me 2 weeks of stripping the engine the sort it out and I'm sure the two events are connected.

We don't seem to have the "img" coding here, so type "[img]", then post link, then type "[/img]". Remember, only copy the link up to the ",jpg" etc coding - do not copy any numers / coding after that: and no extra spaces at all.

it's really not that hard...
1) go to www.photobucket.com and sign up for a free account.
2) upload the images you want to display by using the upload feature in the top right hand corner where it says "upload images". Click browse, a screen will pop up asking where the photo you want to upload is, tell it where it is and click ok. Repeat as neccessary depending how many photos you want uploading.
3) When the photo has uploaded you'll see it in your account, underneath the thumbnail picture there's 3 addresses, direct link, email and messaging, and IMG Code. IMG code is what you need for forums like this one.
So, Click the one for IMG Code and it'll copy automatically, then just right click in here and click paste. It should have [img] and [/img] at the beginning and end of the address respectively automatically, so when you submit a post you should see your picture.
