The coolest boots in the world. Fact.

Believe me, if I could get a set of leathers made up to look like a Stormtrooper uniform, I probably would.
I thought a rebel pilot would be easier. Get a white lid and a couple of theseLike the black Imperial Pilots myself, hence I've got a black lid and have some of these, in chrome on it.
Mid way through last year, I was heading up to the bridge, the back way past Glasson Dock and caught up to a couple on what ISTR was a Fireblade.
She was wearing a tailored, pin stripe, leather suit. It looked more like some fetish gear, but it obviously had a back protector and armour on it.
It was nice to see someone with some imagination. Or perhaps they were just on the way home from a really rough swingers party.

Daytona security evos to those in the know.....
Any thoughts on the Evo Sport? I've been thinking of the Security, but can't believe that they can be £240 better than the Sports. Also, I can't find a local supplier, and if I'm going to spunk £600 on a pair of boots, I want to try them on first!

1) the ankle protector is fibreglass, not carbon
2) the outers aren't kangaroo skin, and not customisable as per the security evos.
They are very well made, and in my opinion are better than any of the competition. Buy them from Germany as has already been stated. The UK guys make the price the same in GBP as the price in EUR (mind you, at this rate, they'll be 1:1 soon!)
I had a chat with a guy who works for the importer, he said security for racing evo sport for road (I think they are supposed to be a bit more comfy to walk in.)
Whatever they cost they're worth it, you'd happily pay £400 not to have your ankle bust after the event, so why not before (which is how I justified it to myself).

I know they are expensive at over £500, but what price do you put on your ankles? In the event of a highside they will hopefully give you the best chance of keeping them the way they were designed!
Mine are battered and bruised from the track work....but unlike a helmet you dont need to replace it everytime you have a spill!!
I have both the Security Evo's and two pairs of Evo Sports one Goretex and the other not. I use the Evo Sports every day. I wouldn't use any other boots now....
Also as has been said buy them from Germany as I did with mine www.fc-moto.de
