100's of cop bikes on the A1

Riding home today up the A1 towards to M25 I saw 50+ cop bikes heading South in convoy. Got to the South Mimms roundabout and saw the same coming out of the services with another load of them parked under the motorway flyover.

Is there some kind of protest going on? I've never seen so many in one place.

It did mean that there couldn't be any left to serve and protect though, so I did get home in very good time

I've never seen so many cops at one time. Glad I was going the other way
