As polo is far more upmarket than golf I'm in too. That golf idea was clearly rubbish and not properly thought through.

We could just go the whole nine yards, turn our backs on society and form a max max style tribe camped out on a surrey golf course. We'd just need a whole load of off-road bikes, some sand rails, a massive fire, a local bargain booze and plenty of women in leather bikinis on leashes. I mean your idea of golf sounds ok but there are always alternatives

Anyway, enough of that, let's get back to agreeing that some bikers are just a bit too naughty

What do people generally do here? Making the person aware that you're looking in your mirrors and are clearly not happy? Slowing down? Speeding up? Stopping and issuing a bit of "self defence"?!

stay to the right of the lane & in a lower gear than normal. so every time they get close i shut the throttle, they panic & hit the brakes, i acclerate. just need to watch carefully in your mirrors.
oh & stopping & producing a tape measure from your pocket to check the gap between their bumper & your tyre has an amazing effect (yes i was pissed off that day).
