My vote goes to oil cooled GSXR1100's with full race yoshi 4-1 pipes, or perhaps Z1000/GPZ1100 (circa 1980-81) with the classic harris 4-1 or vance and hines megaphone system, 1260 big bore, quickshifters etc etc.
Drag strips all through the late '80s and early '90s were filled with these glorious sounds.
