I'll start the debate early then . .

Cameron Donald for a win this year.

He missed out last year through injury, no doubting his speed and he's had a debut win at Thruxton this weekend. . .. He's on form and is hungry this year . . .

I envy all of you going, never been, need to do it one, year, perhaps next . .

Last year Guy had us in tucks every time he spoke on the radio, what a legend! He'll be up there this year for sure.

Oh yes, I'm there this year, Sat 25th crossing, Pre-TT Classics, practice week, race week till Wednesday night. Hotel in Douglas for practice week and then house sorted for race week.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I noticed your Oxford panniers and wondered what you thought of them as I'm thinking of getting those myself soon. Any thoughts on size, quality, etc would be very welcome! Cheers!!

Much appreciated!
no problem at all...i only use them once a year for the TT but they are very well made and big enough (they expand out quiet alot) for clothes for me and the g/f for the TT week

oxford stuff has its own lifetime cover anyway should anything start to come apart but no issues so far

the zips and seems are very sturdy etc etc

I'll see your 25 days and raise you 24 days - thats because I set off on Friday 23rd but don't sail until the 24th. I'm also assuming that my counting is correct......
