Its my Birthday in a couple of weeks so the Wife is treating me to some new boots for Summer... I'm considering the Sidi B2 Gore-Tex - Anyone got anything good / bad to say about them?

Got a pair of these on the weekend. They're my first pair of motorcycle boots, so I'm not going to be much of an authority. They're very comfortable considering how stiff they are. Design isn't as OTT as some of the Sidis (imho). I like the protection positioning and the gore tex element, though yet to use them in the wet to test this.

There are some very positive reviews online - Google is your friend wink

Excellent... I dont want too much bling imaho as they will be used for touring and the B2's will fit in perfectly with my kit.

I already have Hein Gerricke Goretex boots that had a while now and are very comfortable but feel they lack protection which is what I'm after now that I'm riding a sports bike.

Does it hurt more when you fall of a sports bike?

PMSL ... good point wink

I'm just trying to improve the protection of my kit ... started out early last year so some of my kit was a bit budget - I've upgraded everything now - its just the boots left ... got some Forcefield armour shorts coming as well shortly.

I found that my touring boots (lots of Hornet miles) left my ankles a bit sore from lack of support when i was on the Daytona, so for me it's not a saftey issue having the more "spoty" boots. It's comfort.
