ahh dude that sucks.
I only just scraped through my hazard perception on my car one I'm worried about it on my bike one now =s
I think with the car one I just kinda clicked everytime something new came into picture or something changed.
yea i "clicked to much" on the first one (even tho there were 7 flags..) then i generally sucked at the rest by the look of it!I only just scraped through my hazard perception on my car one I'm worried about it on my bike one now =s

i did my car one fine..
funny thing was as the woman gave me it she made a comment about how i am not ready to be driving yet to which i replied i've been driving for the last 3 years love
in a rather arsey manner
did fine in the test ones tho..
Edited cause grammar(grammer?) sucks.

Bad luck dude. To be honest, it's nothing more than a video game - you just need to know how to play it. It bears little resemblance to what goes on in the real world.
A better solution would be to show a number of clips to a candidate and have them give a commentary to an examiner. If they show awareness of hazards/potential hazards, they pass. Would cost too much to implement though and a nice "clicky clicky" game helps the DSA say that they are improving hazard awareness.
If you've not tried it, get the Focus Multimedia Hazard Awareness DVD. It will help you learn how to play the video game in the way DSA want you to play it.

Better luck for next time. When i went to do my therory test for the bike the lady there said i would struggle on the hazard test as i had been driving for about 8 years and she said its geared for people who have not been driving for long.
Lol, That is so stupid, surely someone with more driving experience would have much more awareness to possible hazards and such, I've been driving 2 years now and I definately know alot more now and what to look out for than I did back when i took my theory test after a total of 1 months driving experience.steven182 said:

There are things I would say are a hazard that others or the test may not.

That's fine, if you click for something that isn't a "scoring hazard" you won't get penalised (unless you are clicking without thought or the software thinks you are cheating). As long as you get the scoring hazard (and one clip has two scoring hazards), you'll be OK.
