Good stuff.

I nearly wet myself when I got a Kawasaki leaflet through the door and saw the 0% deal on the ZX10R.....then my missis slapped me in the chops and gave me a look frown

Go to dealer negotiate a price... and pay 0% interest over two to 2.5 years. An if the dealer is switched on include all your nice bits of clothing etc as part of the 0% price ie less overall discount.

Would be interesting to work out what the monthly payments would be like to pay it off.

The Kawasaki deal is 0% over three years with zero deposit.

So a ZX10R will be

£8950 / 36
= £248.61/month

Or ZX6R

£6995 / 36
= £194.30

Trouble is if you're anyting like me you'll be wanting to change it after a year. But then I supose as long as the depreciation matches the monthly payments you can clear the finance. I dunno if that would be the case though??

Also I doubt very much you would get any kind of discount or goodies thrown in at that rate. Might be wrong though.

Either way, I'm going to save up for a bit and hopefully bag an Aprillia RSV1000 mille for somewhere around the 3k mark.

I've now been pointed to a BMW F650 GS which looks apealing

Do BMW bikers have the same rep as BMW car drivers!!

Sorry didn't get that.... it is friday!

Lisa happier with the choice as it isn't as sporty. Will talk to my dad who rides on Sunday.

Only the 1200GS riders with will Touratech pannier, tank panniers, crash bars, spot lights etc who only use them to commute 10 miles up the A3. Yoill be fine on the 650.

Bear in mind that the old F650 was a 650cc single while the new one is an 800cc parallel twin so they are pretty different.
