Got wedding number four of seven for 2008, this weekend frown (why oh why does everyone feel the need to do it? Do they run out of things to say?) but the good news is the girlfriend is driving to the church straight from work, so I'll be taking the bike! smile Wahey!

I'll maybe be tear-arsing around giggling at the sound of my new Scorpion end can. Hang on - I put maybe at the beginning smile

I shall be refilling my scottoiler, going for a good long ride somewhere (still to be decided!) and then giving the bike a good wash when I get home....

Had the SV1000 just over 3 weeks, and have done about 1,600 miles on it! Absolutely love the bike, after the bandit it's just so composed and surefooted, and it sounds cloud9 with the baffles out!!
V twins are fantastic aren't they smile

Where you headed?
Been out this afternoon, after filling the S.O. (so much easier than the one I had on the bandit!) and did Carlisle -> Kendal on the A6, Kendal->Windemere->Ambleside->Keswick, then Keswick->Carlisle on the A591 and A595. Brilliant route, all sorts of roads, and not too much traffic.. Just outside Keswick I was overtaken by a bloke on a Ninja so I thought I'd tag along... and he couldn't shake me off! Very impressed with the SV, given that it's not an all-out sportsbike - it was as good as the Ninja through the twisties... Probably the best ride I've had this year, which is why I'm babbling on about it here!!!

And oh yes, V-twins are sooo brilliant!!

Schmeeky - I have a 600 Bandit. Not quite the thunder of your twin but lots better than the standard can. I can't stop grinning and my bike is so much better on the power.

HHHHhhhmm. Ebay is my friend.

I had to pop into the company offices today, so I took the bike - great journey.

Looking at the weather forecast, it looks horrible - so my bike related activities will probably be wearing my leathers around the house (some more).

I went to a Trixie meet at Avebury last year, 20 or so of them revving away in the car park did sound good.

Did someone say V-Twin Rideout?? now thats what i call a good idea! biggrin

This weekend the TL is getting a bit of TLC after getting back from Assen and my latest 'snotter' my CB500 is getting its first fettling.. Gotta say it looks a bit 'Despatch Rider' but its great round urban roads.. Sadly not a match for a tuned FZ-6 on an dual carriageway but its alot of fun trying to catch up.. biggrin
