So, the insurance is up on the GSXR.

Age: 36
Riding: 3 years or so
Accidents: next
NCB: 1 year.....WHHHOOOOO come on!

The insurance I have at the mo was a deal when I bought the bike new, and cost me £139. I think the insurance before that was around £700. So, should I expect £500??!!

I have the same bike as you and we've been riding about the same amount of time. I'm 29, had 2yrs NCD at the time of policy, have RoSPA certification and a huge penis.

£420

Ahhh, I see...only an average penis over here. Well, add on the premium for "nothing special in the trouser department" and I guess I'll be looking at £600.

Medicine taken!!

Depends on how many claims/convictions you have really, they are what wack the price right up.

At that grand old age I would cry my eyes out if I was paying much over £250 fully comp on any bike.

I pay £550 now on my 600rr at 24 with 1 years NCD and no convictions/claims. Unlimited milage etc. so I would hope its considerably less than that.

Who from?

I've got a 'cat and the cheapest is £315 TPFT with H&R.

But.. I'm 3 years older than you and have had my full licence since 2002. Bike is datatagged, spyball alarm, locked brick garage etc etc.

£320 fully comp for a 40 something with full no claims riding a new R1.

1 total loss 4 years ago.

My original quote from Yamaha (YIS) was nearly £500, so I did the "Go Compare" thingy, and got a cheaper quote, which when I rang YIS, they matched.

pillion Cover.

9 thousand miles. (Agreed mileage)

European cover.

UK breakdown cover.

And a couple of other things that I can't for the life of me remember.
