Good luck in your test.
£2500, I would be looking at a K1-K3 GSXR600 I loved mine!

How strange. Bikes are always sooo much cheaper to insure.

rough idea for you a honda cbr 400 1992 would cost £400 with no NCB a GSXR 600 would cost £1200 with no NCB. i no what insurance would cost me without looking now so i just would like to know what are the best bikes to ride and what offer the best value for money. also i think that bike would scare me a lickal v8 on a bike :-)

How about an Honda NC30 (vfr400). They look, go and sound fantastic. I miss mine. cry

VFR400, you can get a very sorted one for 1800 quid. Spend another 100 on R&G cutting-free crash protectors and the rest of the money on GOOD KIT and comprehensive insurance.

You could get a CBR400 but I'm not sure they're as fun as a VFR

Know a few people who had SV650 as a first bike, looks good, pretty good performance, not too hideously expensive to insure, and half faring means to too expensive to fix if you drop it.

They are, trust me. Well, i'd say the NC23 and 29 are as fun as the NC30.
