Not at the moment, i'll ask him to take some.
It's the white red and blue version but the wheels have been powder coated gold which he wants to change back to white.
Other than that it's completely standard.

Just google imaged this one which is the same.

Electrex make heavy duty replacement reg/regs for most bikes, and sometimes cheaper than the OEM. That kind of voltage probably hasn't done the battery a lot of good. My battery died completely when the reg/rec went.

He has a new battery on it so i hope for his sake that it hasn't been cooked although we have only run it in short 2 minute bursts, still showing 12.4 with engine switched off so that sounds good to me.

When it's sorted Mitzy i'll get him to take some pics smile

We had a similar problem with my mates 400 at the weekend. Would only start on full choke and would die when the throttle was rolled. everythign was checked - new plugs had been installed and all looked as it should be. This problem only manifested itself that week as the bike was being worked on. We were trying to do a carb balance at the time...

Anyway turns out that the problem for us was fuel starvation. We had the tank off to get at the carbs and due to the angle of tank where it was sat not enough fuel was getting through - we could see by looking at the fuel filter. Moved the tank and presto engine ran fine.

After the forks and rearsets have been blinged up mine is going to have the carbs done and balanced. as it gets to 5-6K revs and he sounds a bit horrid, but only sometimes.

More money, but worth every penny.

Have you had a jet kit fitted Mitz? 5-6k is the flatspot they all have, a re-jet seems to clear it up quite nicely.
