Sorry, I didn't mean that terribly seriously - I've still got it. I live with Salgar (he didn't own a Street Triple or have a bike licence before I moved into his spare room…) I'm planning on selling it soon though to save some money and have a non-bikey holiday.

Mr Doom, did your fuel consumption improve as you put more miles on it? I got 28mpg on a 65 mile motorway run at 70…

Yes definatly gets better, todays run to Barnsley (from South Derbyshire) saw me getting high 40's. Its normaly around there as well, even though i can be a bit heavy on the right foot as i dont pay for the fuel. wink If i took it steady it would be in the 50's i reakon.

scratchchin Tea at willy woods?

Might see you there one day. It was definitely a good day for getting a ride in, compared to yesterday, as it looked more like a boating lake.

It's very thoughtful of them to put a tea hut at a dogging site

there was one for sale at the Classic Bike Show yesterday for £12k...I was sorely tempted, then I remembered I was about £11995 short!

Are they that special to ride? I'm only 21, I know I'll be frowned upon but to me that just looks like any old fzr. Are they as highly regarded as RC30s?

That's a reasonably heavy right foot, at or around the speed limit I get 55mpg, I get over 40 on my 9 mile commute biggrin

Am I the only one that doesn't have a clue what make/model it is? It looks very sporty for a company car.
