Well I've done my bit buying a brand new Honda!
Interestingly, speaking to the Triumph dealer when I was test riding the bikes in late July, he was saying that Triumph expected a tough 2009 so cut back production. Sales had been better than expected, so supply has been tough.
Of course all of that might just have been because I was pushing for a discount.
The Honda dealers said that business was good with a lot of models selling out - especially the ABS equipped Fireblades.
Again - dealers have their own agenda - not least, assuring you they'll be around as a business for any warranty and servicing issues if they are selling you a new bike.
