848 Dark - T Minus 8 Days 20 Hours 9 Minutes

Sorry, I know I don't post much on BB but can't contain myself any longer.

It was a tough decision, and my RR7 has been a brilliant bike over the last 15000 miles, but the temptation of the 848 Dark was to great, so it's now time for a change, sorry Honda.

Here's a snap of my little beaut which has been delivered into the dealers last week with a collection date set for April Fools Day. Sorry for it not being the best of pics.

Yum Lovely! I was going to test ride one of those when I was looking at Daytonas, but couldn't justify the extra £3-4000 and the ridiculous £2k it would've cost on insurance. Plus it just didn't feel great to sit on, but that's probably just my selective bum.

Oh yeah, freebies, pretty good from what I saw, although Ducati don't seem to have thought it through very well.

When you order you get sized up for the clothing, except the dealer I went to only had 1 size of leathers, a 40'', didn't have the Helmet design in stock, nor boots or gloves.

In the end I've been sized up on my existing sizes which seems to me like a receipe for disaster, as the kit is shipped from Italy to your home address and I can just imagine a box turning up sometime in April with a load of gear that doesn't fit.
