Cast your mind back to the 600 monster dark. In showrooms about 3 months before the 620 was introduced

I was originally answering Gylen's question about the dark branding. So using the Monster is relevant

Theres a test on the Dark in one of the bike mags this month, same lump in as the standard 848 just save money on the non gloss finish, I think it looks stunning the only thing they slated it for was the finish means it gets scratched and stone chipped easy so you suggesting the armour finish on it would be a good idea, get that done prevention is better than cure.

It was already answered but only have read that on 848, where did you research the info on the Monster? I read about the saving on the 749 by the dark labelling which was the same as the 848.

The info was given freely by the then Manager of Ducati South in Croydon when my ex bought her 750 Monster Dark.

Nice looking bike Craig - just bought a red one today from the same shop! I do like the black but I've never owned a Ducati before so traditional red for me.

It was.( you can see it in Craigs photos on page 2 and I went for a ride up there with him when he picked it up) We have been out for a 220 mile ride today so he'll be at home now recovering from his exhaustion/stiff neck/sore back/numb arse/deafness and aching wrists.Who said motorcycling is no fun?
