Trackday tyre pressures?

GWM, those are proper wets. I was just checking as I'm sure Michelin do a pilot road tyre.
IIRC, I was 32/32 cold with the Michelin wets but it's been 3 years since I last used them. Ask the tyre guy on the day what they reccomend.
I think 29 cold is far too high for supercorsa's. I use 27 hot and its spot on.
Ok thanks. I don't have tyre warmers as yet, so am I safe to go with 31 front and 25 rear for cold pressures? Then I can adjust to the hot pressures when I come in from my first session?IIRC, I was 32/32 cold with the Michelin wets but it's been 3 years since I last used them. As high as 33 on the front. Am I wrong running 27 on the rear and 30 on front? Super corsa road compound. ste inters rider
I find 30 hot makes it harder to steer. Try a wee bit more. Just realised , the last track day I did was on 16.5 inch slicks with tyre warmers .
Havent the foggiest clue of what to do with a 2015 r1 on road tyres, 17s etc this week . Should I take warmers ( they fit , I've tried them )? Or is that cockademus and pliers ? Sorry to ask the bleeding obvious but to be fair I haven't had a "stupid question thread" for a couple of days now .
Should I still do 31 front 29 rear cold ?

Yes, that's fine. You always get the tyre hotter off the track than the warmer so always good to checkmckeann said:
