With the screen right up do you have to take notice of the headroom warnings on low bridges?

The rest fails to interest me. While I managed to live the dream of a GL1000 Gold Wing (unfaired), the CBX eluded me. Still think they look rather stunning, something a lot of modern bikes don't seem able to pull off.

My dealer has sold their full allocation (25) and I have the only one of these that is bog standard. Why is that? Do people really believe they need traction control, adaptive headlights (how often do you ride in the dark)and electric suspension etc. I chose this bike simply for the engine which is magnificent and the noise and performance makes it difficult to do any cruising as I just have to keep hearing that noise and feeling the thing take off like a scolded cat regardless of its weight. I’m 58, 5ft 7in and it’s no more of a problem to handle than most other bikes. Does it really matter if its 320kg or 200kg I can’t lift either. The prices have already gone up so if you think you might like one do it now.

Good stuff, are you going to post up some pictures for us? I'd definitely have one in my Euromillions garage (when I win tonight...) for touring duties.

Do I NEED IT? - No! ... but, now I've had a bike with ESA then I would definitely have it on my next bike if it was in the list of options.

Just got back from the first outing with the beast. 3300 miles around europe. Intended to go to Kracow in Poland but only made it to Prague. Bike was faultless and comfy (the rug helped) averaged 50 to the gallon doing 75 - 80 on motorways, chamfered the cissy pegs when I got the chance. There are a few little things that I would change but then there is on any bike (can't suit all of the people all of the time)The worst is the transmission snatch which try as I might I couldn't ride round. Big bike "yes" but around the cities over cobbles and tram lines I had no issues. I love all things that transport me without having to walk and the older the better, I had a CBX once LuS1fer loved it. Yes money is always a consideration but I have alway's found way's of having what I want in life because your a long time dead.
