You'll have to allocate parking bay numbers at this rate - how on earth am I going to find my car in the morning amongst all the other Blue/White ones

How about the new service area near Winchester. We can then have a mini cruise down the M27 to Steve's place.

The new Winchester services on the M3 is a good point to meet to convoy down together. It is after Fleet services on the M3 but before Rownhams services on M27.
I am not bias even though I live in Fleet. I estimate the journey from Winchester services on M3 to Steve`s in the New Forest at approx 40 mins. (Maybe more if there are caravans on the road.)

I reckon it will take an hour to Fleet from South Mimms, so if we meet at 10am, that should give us plenty of time?

Hi Folks,

Did some timings yesterday on the way to Steve's.
Fleet to Winchester Services, approx 25 mins and Winchester to Steve's another 25 mins.

That was in the rusting hulk (our Montego Estate). Mary was driving in her usual manner, foot welded to the floor, mumbling something about "white van man" and taking them out!!!!!

God knows what times she will do when driving the Viper, think I will stick to my push bike.

See you all Steve's and lets all pray for good weather.

Hi Everyone,
a quick list of names to cars to help you recognise each other:

RT/10
Bret - Red
Alan & Helen - Red/White
Nigel & Mary - Red
Barry & Sam - Red/Silver
Shirley & Terry - Black/Silver
Mike & Pauline - Black

GTS
Arthur & Liz - Black
Joel - Black/Silver
Nadine - Blue/White
Sarah & Tom - Blue/White
Graham & Annette - Blue/White
Peter & Mary - Blue/White
Ray & Peter - Blue/White
Ray & Catherine - Blue/White
Rob & Dee - Blue/White
Rob - Red
Mark - Red
Paul & Barbara - Red/Silver
Neil & Leigh - Steel/White

GTS ACR
Jan - Yellow/Black

Then of course there is Steve's 4 vipers - RT/10 red, GTS red, GTS-R white and his new replica '91' car GTS red

There's a guy Christian who is bringing both his cars to the restaurant only as he has other arrangements, not sure of the colours
but he has a GTS and a RT/10. There are also another 2 possible cars whose owners are having to make a very late decision

The American guy coming over is John Dent, a few minutes of chat to make him feel welcome will be appreciated by Steve

See you all soon, pray for sun !

Neil
