As a "thank you for hosting the BBQ" surprise for Steve, I've had made a unique, Viper logo florescent wall light, in '91' colours: red and white of course! (Its been made by the company that make all the Ferrari dealership signs in the UK). What I'm asking is if everyone would like to give a few quid towards it (it cost just over £100)...as we have 20 or so Vipers going (not including Steves!) if each car would like to give £5 towards it please. Hopefully we'll get Steve to make a welcome speech, and then present him with it. (I'll collect from people at the BBQ when I see you) Can't wait for Saturday, and the get together with all our Vipers, Nadine & GTS.

Thanks everyone for a brilliant weekend, Pauline and I really enjoyed meeting up with you all again as well as meeting new friends. I'll have to write to Steve seperately due to his aversion to the computer but would like to register our thanks for all his and everyone elses efforts. Here's to next time,Mike

WHO WANT ANOTHER BABYCHAM ???

Another great viper weekend with 23 in total making it the BIGGEST gathering yet, really enjoyed myself as did everyone I spoke to. Many thanks to Paul H for sorting out the catering and providing such an excellent service, also to everyone who turned up some battling through the heavy traffic and travelling a fair distance.

Extra special thanks to Steve for hosting and organising such a wonderful event at his idilic location, with his boundless enthusiasm and generousity which made it all come together

Now Mr VENOM500 , thanks for the entertainment dropping your shorts then running all around the field with a flashlight, how I laughed , it amazing what these video camera's can pick up in the pitch dark

Lets make it annual !!
Neil

Thanks everyone for the positive comments above & the emails received- glad we could help out.
Great venue Steve, well done Neil for pulling it all together.
Thanks for the rides Nad & Joel.

Neil.....where's the video of "non-trousered Venom 500"- please send me a still (or better still, get the VT hosted for all to see) to pass on to the Viper Mag guys..........oh, can I have your permission to send them the link to your photos too so they know what sort of things we get up to over here?????

I presume that by annual, you mean the event, not the trousers episode?????
Paul H.

i'll pic out a few good ones and email them to Mark, the USA Viper Mag editor.

any comments good or bad on the whole weekend ? a few teething problems but hopefully if this happens again we can sort them out

I think my only comment would be that we should have done the photo shoot on the Saturday when we had the full compliment of 23 Vipers - just for the record.

There was a pro photographer Sat afternoon and the plan was to get the cars together into a layered semi circle shape, once everyone had parked they seem to disappear glad to get into the shade, Steve's ranch been so big 100 or so people melted around the grounds.

We should of had someone directing the cars into the correct positions from the start, one to organise properly if it happens again....

I've knocked up a quick movie of the weekend you might like to see.

Click here to view (8.4Mb, WMV).

Note: this is in widescreen format (16:9) so if it appears 'squashed' when playing, you may need to adjust your media player settings. Windows Media Player 9 works fine for me...

GreatWeekend!Must do again but maybe the full monty next time!Sorry i didn,t chat to many folks but my little one(grace)was being a frigging nightmare as usual!Sorry to say that the Hennessey Exhaust is back on the car again, didn,t like the idea of people near where i live shaking there fists at the car/driver,was also only able to hear out of one ear(as i still am)for the weekend and that didn,t help, plus i had a lot of exams to do on the Mon/Tue/Wed so was a bit stressed over that also.My highlight of the weekend?......the convoy down the motorway....FANTASTIC.I think we should have done a few more and over a longer distance, maybe to the motor museum in the new forest next time? And start the BQ a bit later ,i was starving by 6.30!Hears to next year.

Collectively, we could have added another 10,000 horses to the New Forest that day! Like that idea for next year...
