I've heard you can get the vipers serviced in any uk chrysler jeep garage. Is this the case? How long do you have to wait for spares or repair work?

thats a good one really made me

I've never had to use a Chrysler garage in 6 years for anything major, finding a viper trained tech is the problem as I've been told there are only 3 in the country. I prefer to order my own parts (which is easy) and get my local trustworthy garage to fit them. A normal service at Chrysler is supposed to be around £170, but I'll think you'll find most owners will prefer not to let Chrysler touch their car

I went to my local dealership yesterday and spoke to a mechanic who had worked there for 10 years and still had never seen a viper, we'll until yesterday......

I guess there's not really a reputable independent viper place in the uk then.

I bought my car from 'Motorway Sports' in Canterbury, Kent - they are a Chrysler & Lotus dealer. The owner of the dealership owned the Viper for 3 years and his technicians have looked after it. It's currently in for the recall work - needed two replacement cross members and the parts were in within a day or two. I guess they have some good experience. Might be worth a go if you can't find a local garage?

Hi RoadRunner,

N GTS posted this on a similar thread I started up a few weeks ago

"Dealer in London is "Clive Sutton" phone 0208 2004455, Andy is their Viper mechanic, he good on Vipers and keen about them too, he'll talk straight to you too! "

A mentioned above, the trick is to find either a Viper technician, or somebody you are happy and confident with.

I am going to try Clive Sutton myself, and will let you guys know the outcome.
