Hood Crime

I am concerned with the numbers of Griff and Chimaera drivers with their hoods up when it's not raining. We're not driving Elises and it only takes a minute or two. Furthermore I heard you can get points on your license for "Hood Crime". If not, you should!

I'm guilty of this from time to time though. Short journeys where it's not worth the hassle and motorway stints where it's too tiring/noisy getting blasted for a couple of hours.

Pulled 140+ on Sunday and the whole of the Screen rubber came off (all round the top and half way down the side) - little bit of rust on the exposed top of screen - so until weekend when I can mastic / glue all this on better than when it left the factory (build quality ha ha ha) hood will be one. I usually drive to work with it up as im usually late putting it back up when I arrive. I allways get it off on my trip home.

Having owned a Morgan - you really have to decide whether it is worth putting the hood up when it starts raining as by the time you've fitted the side-screens and erected the roof over the frame, you're now thoroughly soaked!
And despite having relatively narrow tyres, the steering at parking speeds is hard work - it makes me wonder why so many Chimaera drivers complain about heavy (non-assisted) steering...you should try driving a Mog!

Rain is only a problem if you're driving slowly through town - keep a large umbrella on the back shelf for when you stop at lights/junctions..........
