Starter/Battery Cable (How Long?)

50mm would be ample if putting the battery in the boot, id ground the chassis at the rear too to save on having to run 2 cables.
I would add a large maxi fuse at the battery though just for belt and braces due to the longer cable run, maybe even run the cable through a protective plastic conduit too.
Drivers side up high on the chassis would work but a little awkward to access with exhaust in place.
