The curved quarterlight on the red hard top really compliments the car. I would have one of these if someone custom made them in the UK.
Agree with this totally.However, size would indicate that this design as-is would not fit in the boot, so would need to be able to split into two pieces...

I love that red one.. Anyone got any more info on it? Also I remember seeing a matt black one up for sale in NZ about 3 years ago that I nearly bought.. Does anyone have pics of this as that was just about the best looking Chim I've ever seen. Though it was pretty much a Chim shell dropped over a completely redesigned and superior chassis built as a racing car. Brilliant looking piece of kit though!

Yes - think its possible too.
In my mind, the red one is better looking due to the curving roof above the rear screen and the "quarter-light" windows - seems much more Cerbera-esque and complimentary to the Chim shape than the non-quarter-light angular versions...
With regards to the silver Chim - I see the rear portion sits on the boot floor, but how does the targa panel fit in around that..?
Many thanks,
Dom

I like the shape of the red roof too, especially the Cerbera-esque-ness, as you put it! Most of the roof conversions done by the creator of mine are fabric covered and are virtually indistinguishable from the original TVR roof: presumably that's the design cue he took.

It sits snugly on top of it. Boot space is hardly diminished as there's a lot of room below the rear section and a similar volume above the targa.haircutmike said:
Nice cars but the red chim just looks so "balanced", could have been factory.
As said previously, this would have really sold at the time.
Let's see it again;
Now my background on my PC .
Me likey ... and if it doesn't fit in the boot, what the hell, it can hang up in the shed in summer.As said previously, this would have really sold at the time.
