I only paid £300 for my megasquirt instalation and full rolling road map..
That's a bargain Daz.

£300 for a MegaSquirt installation yikes
He specialises in LPG conversions and even builds his own megasquirts.

http://www.switchtolpg.co.uk/

Purchased Megasquirt with two lambda inputs ,second hand leads, coil packs but tested from Phil EFI EXTRAS and then purchased wise band lambdas from Trigger wheels.com.

People say you don`t get technical backup with the megasquirt but Phil has been a gem..

he is not just in this buisness for money ,he is an enthusiast and as time for people .. genuine guy ..!not like some of the crooks in this buisness

Just an update.

I wasn't entirely happy with my tweaking of the regulator and the fuel mixture, especially as I am doing a T/D in a couple of weeks time.

I took the car to Austec Racing, just 20 minutes from me first thing this morning.

I was proved right as the fueling was on the weak side.

After a discussion with Ashley who does the R/R and tweaking there, he adjusted the regulator and then the AFM to give the best results with the 14CUX.

He states that the Lucas injectors are maxed out at my engines state of tune and the Vectra ones are good for about 350BHP.

The final result was 336 BHP and 367 torques a figure that in his words would be improved again once I go MS!

It was a pleasure to be at Austecs and be guided by people who know their business thumbup.

Good news on your new engine Peter. More to come too

PS very sorry about your old engine. Lunched it big style on first run today. Did a big burnout. Ran a PB of 1.70 to 60 foot. Then it went pop at halftrack and shut the track for 10 mins while they cleaned up the mess frown

Real sorry to hear that Derek.

Hopefully no more then a piston or 2!

At least you have a bit of time, not much of a consolation I know!

I have a good set of 4.6 pistons if necessary.

Crappy pics of Saturdays run at Austecs with the regulator tweaked by them.

Fueling far from perfect but car runs smooth as a hamsters tummy!

Megasquirt ordered smilewill install late summer!

White lines are deleted previous runs.

Nice peak and definately a lot more torque to be had once that fuelling is sorted properly.
I just got back from my fateful weekend away and no sign of mine back yet.
