I am sure someone mentioned they are sourced from a Land Rover.

Hi,
If they are the same as in the Griff (which I think) they are a Land rover part:

GROMMET 7 X 53MM P/N 589452

Search the web for a webshop with pictures, so you can check.
Rgds,

Marvin

Everything's from a Land Rover, I'm surprised they haven't got 4 wheel drive smile

Holy thread resurrection, Batman

John Craddock has the grommets noted above for £1.71 but they are the smaller ones from the look of it that take the throttle cable, not the bigger dia. ones for the hoses.

Is it a case of trimming the centre out to the right size or is there another part?

Yes Peter but just try finding the right one... ebay is the best and worst place for stuff like that, usually millions of items but they all look the same using library photos with ambiguous descriptions, then you find one but it comes from China with a 4 week lead time ...

Thanks but I don't want blind grommets; search for 32 mm grommet and they don't have anything that looks like the original, the holes too big and not sure it'll fit the thickness of the GRP either.

Think I haven't been looking?! tongue out

LR part number 589452 these are what I used they have correct thick lip for GRP body and the hoses pass through no problem inc the bigger servo hose with no mods , I sourced genuine old stock LR Defender
