Has anyone got a spare (or know where you can buy)
just the internal metal frame inside the Chimaera
door mirror? Mine has broken at the circular mount bit where the mirror meets the door.

The specialist my car is in with car at the moment source these usually but they're having trouble getting one for me. The only other alternative is a whole new mirror, which gets expensive especially as you have to have it sprayed your car's colour.

Its a pre 97 model, so hasn't got the door release buttons under the mirror, (if that matters??),
and its the passenger side door.

Thanks...

Thanks raceboy, I'll give them a bell.

Just out of interest is the bracket/frame inside
made up of more than one bit? I don't want to order
the wrong thing, I suppose TMS will know what I'm
on about?

Did the same to mine - if TMS have one then great. I had to replace the whole mirror unit, but still not that expensive at under £100. The unit is a Citroen XM but Citroen dealers cant supply the part, only the full unit.

Tried a couple of dealers but unhelpful - should have tried TMS but will do in the future.

Cheers,

Paul
