Can anyone recommend a re-spray company in the South East London area? I need the front of my Chimaera re-sprayed to get out the stone chips. Its a tricky colour though (Atlantis Halcyon) so I need someone who can get the correct paint as well ...

Try BeeGees in Chessington. I had some work done through Mole Valley (and I think they use BeeGees) and it was excellent - Ocean Haze pearlescent

I always recommend Liphook Coachworks, but always get shot down for it!

What sort of prices are you looking at here? I've been thinking about having my V8S done - probably just the bonnet (but that must be about 40% of the car).

The reason I am asking is that I got a quote from Mole Valley at Redhill for a font end spray and they said 1000 quid + VAT. It sounds VERY expensive to me ? is that the right price or is the quote a bit much ?

Have you tried P.R. Wood Motor Bodies in Southend?
He specialises in TVR's.

Why don`t you make contact with Tom Horsburgh near Farnham - he does all Adrian Blyth`s cars and is top top quality and very reasonable with it. He loves TVR`s and loves his work - have had mine done with him and he really is first class.

Try Bee Gees, they do a good job and have loads of TVRs in the workshop, so I guess that should say something for there reputation. Garry at Bee Gees quoted me 600 for a front respray of a Griff 500 in Starmist Blue.

Mole (Redhill & Chessington) use Bee Gees...... so where's the 400 quid difference going? Oh, I get it!
